Don't Know What To Write

It has been a while since our last post. Since the last time I wrote something I took down the shed and our air conditioner broke and we need a new one. Not really motivated to write anything because we are just so tired. Here are some new pictures of Brandon for all to see.

1 MONTH

Brandon 1 month old
he loves taking baths
drying off after his bath
Donna and Brandon on Mothers Day
he fell asleep just like that
So Sunday Brandon was 1 month old, WOW how time flies!!! Unfortunately I had to work but was able to spend some tie with him when I got home. I can't believe it has already been 1 month, it seems like it was just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. I guess it is true what people say, enjoy them now because time flies and they grow so fast. Brandon no longer sleeps in our room, he now sleeps in his room which is good because e talks or makes funny noises in his sleep. i could just sit there and listen and stare at him all night if I could.

So let me tell you about our weekend. It started on Friday as I was driving home from work. as I reached our street I noticed it was blocked off by the cops. since it was blocked off I had to go around the back way. As I was driving by I noticed cops in the bank parking lot. This I later learned was because the bank on the corner was robbed for the 4th time since January. This is one of the reasons why we need to get out of the Boro. Later on on Friday Donna and I went out t0 see one of her friends that was back home for a couple of days. My mom and dad ended up watching the baby and did a good job of doing it. This ends Friday.

Saturday started by us going out to breakfast with Brandon and a friend Mike. after breakfast I went home and did yard work. this consisted of cleaning out the gutters, the yard and trimming the bushes. I had tickets to the Phillies game on Saturday night but decided not to go early in the week so I could spend some time with Donna and the baby. Also we had a picnic to go to which I ended up not going to because our dryer broke and my dad and I went and picked up one from a yard sale. we new the people selling it and it was cheap, so since we don't plan on being here long we bought it. We plan on buying a new washer and dryer when we move so we didn't want to spend alot of money on a dryer now. When my dad and I got it home and in the basement we found out it wouldn't fit through the door to the laundry room. We had to take off the door, the molding around the door and the door jam. (pain in the ass!!!) We finally got it in and found out the end on the gas line didn't match up so we had to go to Home Depot to get the right one. So by the time I got that done Donna and the baby had come home from the picnic. The dryer now works and works good. THANK YOU DAD FOR ALL YOUR HELP. I put back the molding and door jam and all I have left to do is touch up some paint. And that was our Saturday.

This brings us to Sunday. Sunday I had to work and well I already wrote all this at the top of this blog so you know already. hopefully I get some more time to write this week so I will see you all later.

BUMPER STICKERS

Is it only me or do all the my student is an honor student at whatever school get on your nerves?!!! Now people have stickers that states what sport the kid plays their number and name. even worse driving to work every day I see a sticker that says John Doe coach and tammys' mom. Now I could give TWO SHITS who these people are and what they do. If you are proud of your kid tell HIM not everyone else, WE DON'T CARE!!!! Are people that insecure with themselves that they have to share with everyone their kids business?

why I hate news reporters

So there was more violence in Philadelphia this past week where a cop was killed. One of the men who decided it is ok to kill people and cops is missing and can't be found. My problem is that when a cop kills someone or as they say uses unnecessary force the news reporters are at the house of the victim where the family always gets to bash the cops and talk about how they are going to seek legal action. the reporters also find it ok to go to the home of the cop and harass him or her and their family. I wonder why no reporters have been interviewing the cop killers family and camping outside of their homes.
In a related story also this week cops were caught on tape beating a couple thugs on the street. The cops saw these men pull out guns and fire them at some other men. The cops then chased the men and caught them an beat them. Maybe it's just me, but I see just cause in this beating, but guess who doesn't the reporters. As I watched the news today the families of the thugs were being interviewed by the news. One of the mothers had the audacity to say the police had to explain themselves and that there was no reason for the cops to do this. What a joke!!!! Why didn't any of the reporters say hey, your son was shooting at another man, what do you have to say about that and do you think that him having a gun and shooting it at someone is RIGHT?
Personally I think the news people are in the wrong. The news reports how much violence there is and how it's wrong, but on the other hand make some of these people look like heroes. It's like the school shootings. When they happen it is reported on for days and sometimes weeks. If you stop giving it so much attention I think they will stop or at least decline. If a kid is thinking about doing a shooting at his or her school he sees how much attention it gets on TV and thinks hey I can make myself famous and be talked about.

Well that's my rant thanks for reading.

BACK 2 WORK

Brandon sleeping
me,donna grandmom, and grandpop in front of the beautiful crib he made
today was my first day back at work since Brandon was born. It's hard to believe that it has been 2 weeks, because the time has really gone by so fast. Last nite was the most sleep i have had in the 2 weeks which was nice. I probably fell asleep around 11:00pm and woke up at 6:00am, now that I am back at work my Brandon shift ends at 2:00 am which is when he woke up this morning. donna was SO NICE and fed him and took care of him for the rest of the day.

While at work it was hard not to think about the little peanut and donna the entire day. It sucks because I am wondering what I am missing, if he is doing something new, making a new face or whatever. I also know donna has her hands full which I feel bad because I can't do anything from work, it's a little frustrating. donna is a strong person so I know she can handle it though. work was good alot of congrats from my fellow workers which was nice. I had a chance to work some ot but declined because I couldn't wait to get home and see my family. I can't believe how much my life and priorities have changed. Before Brandon I would have only turned down the ot if I was going to go to happy hour. I like the change though and wouldn't have it any other way.

FIRST NIGHT OUT

Last night was my first night out after Brandon was born. It was tough not to think about him and Donna every second i was out. You just want to call home so much, but I held out to only call twice. I had waited to the very last minute to leave the house which was a mistake because not only were the Phillies playing but so were the Flyers. What a traffic nightmare!!! Once we got to the game it was fun as it always is. It was Jamie Moyer bobble-head night so everyone got a bobble-head which is an added plus. I will be putting that down in the basement with the rest of the stuff I have. After we got in and situated we sought out our friend Jen who is an usher at the stadium. We always try and find her just to say hi, but last night she was working in the lower level behind home plate. She let us sit in her section which the tickets are around $50. That was very nice of her and it was something we appreciated. As my dad and grand pop found out we have mastered the art of parking down at the complex. Leaving the game it only takes about 2 minutes to get out of the lot and on the Walt Whitman Bridge and over to new Jersey, so going home takes no time at all.

Sorry but that's all I got so see ya!!!!! By the way the pictures are not from last night. The pictures are from opening day.
